Drake Prove's He's The Boss Leads 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards With 14 Nominations

Drakes proves he is boss for the third year in a row, Drake leads nominations for the BET Hip-Hop Awards. But this time around Drake clinge's himself 14 nominations including Album of the Year, Track of the Year, and MVP of the Year.


Drake’s “Summer Sixteen Tour” buddy Future also got himself 10 nominations, including Album of the Year, Best Mixtape, and the Made-You-Look Award for Best Hip-Hop Style.

Dj Khaled and Kayne West follow Drake and future leads with nine and eight nominations, respectively to thier name.

The BET Hip-Hop Awards will take off on Saturday, Sept. 17 at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, but won’t air on television until Oct. 4.

A “big host” for the event will reportedly be announced soon.
